Dr. Thu Thi Anh Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu received her Ph.D in the United States in 2014 in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering and has 11 years of research experience in signal processing, image processing, and the application fields of smart healthcare, and digital transformation. She is currently Vice-Director of The University of Danang - Da Nang International Institute of Technology (DNIIT) - a leading institute in IoT and AI technical solutions for smart cities. She is the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, The University of Danang - University of Science and Technology, in charge of the Vietnam - US Advanced Program in Electronics - Telecommunications since 2014 - present, and is the Academic Manager of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship program, named 21st Century Skills Development Program of DUT. Also, since 2015, she has joined the global Fablab network. Since 2016, she founded LYDINC company and has led STEAM academy, innovation education, skills development, online education, and educational quality assurance projects.

In addition, Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu has led and initiated STEM innovation education activities, developing women in STEM, and promoting digital transformation, locally and internationally. She has been invited to be chair and speaker at many national and international conferences and seminars on quality education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation. She has led and participated in the quality assurance and improvement, self-assessment, and outcome-based evaluation activities of undergraduate training programs according to AUN-QA, ABET, and CTI standards since 2016. She is a peer reviewer of the international accreditation agencies: QAA, UK, and ASIIN, Germany.
