Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Danh Thao has served as the Vice President in charge of International Affairs and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) since July 2018. He has more than ten years of experience in dealing with international projects and partnerships at the university. Holding a key position in important international projects and key contact point for university-industry linkage, he has envisioned the development of global education and strongly supported internationalization activities at HCMUT. His determination in innovative strategies has strongly effected HCMUT’s linkage with universities, industries, and communities while strengthening our training quality and enforcing commercialization of research products.

Thao was among key leaders who laid the foundation and importantly enforced the implementation of development projects such as HEEAP, JICA, AUN/SEED-Net, and Erasmus+, etc. His innovative and decisive attitude secures successes in seek for new partners and contributes to the achievements of partnership.
