Nguyễn Thế Trung graduated from Sydney University of Technology and worked as R&D Director at CVT, Australia before returning to Vietnam and started DTT company in 2003. In 2022, Trung found PYTHAVERSE PTE. LTD. for a new venture in Digital Learning Technologies.

 DTT is now known as one of the few private ICT companies that lead some IT-related movement in Vietnam recently such as E-Government, STEM Education, IoT ( Internet of things) startups. Currently millions of Vietnamese are using DTT software to access Government e-services. DTT also expanded to global market since 2006 with its presence in Silicon Valley, USA, Singapore and EU to provide Software services. DTT was awarded top 10 ICT company and many other recognitions.

In 2018, Trung was selected to be the eGovernment, digital government technology advisor of Minister of Office of Government. Trung was awarded Minister Merit for his contribution. From Febuarary 2020, Trung was selected to by the Deputy team lead of Rapid response team of National Covid-19 committee, in which he has managed teams of hundreds of scientist and ICT engineers to develop various ICT solution for Covid campaign.
